About the Principal

My name is Melanie Carmona and I am thrilled to serve as the principal of Woodsboro Elementary. For the past 22 years, I have been a proud Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District employee, serving as a teacher, PYLUSD Induction Coordinator, and principal.

 

My husband and I live in Yorba Linda with our kids who are also students in our district. I love serving our community's children and families, as well as working with educators' who are passionate about caring for our students and attending to the whole child.
